You may want to ask/beg Michal then, he's got some work (how much, I really don't know as it may just be the initial research into it) on ext2 for AROS.

It seems I have confused this with another project, I have no reasons to believe this is GPL.
Still would be nice to have ;)

Hey, I noticed someone made a Filesystem handler for ext2. Wouldn't it be excellent to ask that guy to give someone the sources to compile for AROS? I prefer ext2 to fat16/31 anyday.
