Well, I'm no tech guy, still, I hope no code get harmed in the process...

My idea of ideal uae environment will probably be accomplished by UAE Integration bounty.

My idea is pretty simple, a box with UAE is created for a said program/game, let's just say PPaint. PPaint in native mode has an app icon/menu, as such it would then be recreated in wanderer (when app icons are available) allowing a seamlessly integration between said program and AROS, at least Joe User wise, still emphasis would go for AROS as it is seen as another program of AROS. Each program would then open in such way and its REXX ports available trough UAE AREXX port.

Another idea UAE related would be some sort of adf device which would allow exploring it's contents trough context menu, and if clicked it's device icon start the box emu. That device icon would have a drop down menu on it's info attributes where you could then choose the machine to emulate, the UAE core would be elsewhere.

Running PPaint in its box, while having access to the same treatment as other AROS programs would be nice...

E-UAE has inherited UAE's AREXX port. This lets you telecontrol some (E-)UAE features from AROS.

E.g.
/* Diskchange */

address UAE
"insert 0 work:uae/disk1.adf"

/* Run application */

address UAE
"uaeexe wbrun programme:graphics/ppaint/ppaint"

Latter requires that you prior run "uae_rcli" in you emulated Amiga. You can find uae_rcli and other programs in sys:extras/emu/e-uae/amiga.

What currently doesn't work are commands which return something in the variable RESULT (like "VERSION AUTHOR")
