well, i saw that ahi support camd, but dont got the point (what the diference of have a ahi camd driver or a camd driver?!!?!?)
i did google, but not much info, i look into mpu-401 programming, and a question appear...how camd and gameport are related? (as we can have a midi or joystick connected on the port, and camd handle midi and gameport handle joystick) regards, |

camd.library is a MIDI playing library for the Amiga. AHI now has support for it. Other than that, I don't know much about it. Google for camd.library to learn more.
Yes, the same driver should work on different arch as long they use the same method of access. For example, a PCI SB Live card is the same in either a Mac or a PC. Allowing the the different endianness of the CPUs, and given a PCI HDD driver for both, the same SB Live driver should work on either arch. Of course, a Mac version of AROS isn't done yet.

hi,
1) isnt possible to use the same driver for diferent arch, enabling some endianes check and OS Type? (as it is the same hardware) 2) repeating the question i made on the other topic, but now on a right topic. Why them Emu10Kx has CAMD code? how does AHI and CAMD are related? Best regards |
