I'm pretty sure we can get it connected, just being nitty picky and anal for the details and inner workings.

If nothing else works then just checking for the vendor id/product id will do the trick...

Then again, it's better if I check my own endian conversions before going on a ghost hunt... :)

Oh no... Now I got myself some pressure... Asked wife couple of days ago if I could buy one also, she said no... :(

I'm trying to figure out the analog thumb stick values.

This is what I get when nothing is touched and all the sticks are dead center, left thumbstick value marked in []-pair

It clearly isn't a 16-bit (as if there really would be 16-bit ADC) value and purely just adjusting for the endianess isn't enough.
There are HUGE leaps in the values 0xa929 goes 0xa727 (or 0x29a9 goes to 0x27a7)

When I configured a hid joypad from trident using analogue hack I had to adjust the analogue sticks to have them working correct. There is a way, but not userfriendly.

At this point I could have made the class only accept certain devices and patch the lowlevel.library, but I've started to be real anal about it.

It bothers me that the analog value is 0x80 when at center. There may even be a fine and coarse output on the analog thumb sticks.

It would seem silly if the ADC's be really 16-bit wide. I think they are 8-bit wide and cleverly mapped as 16-bit with fine and coarse output.

If I recall it correctly, Windows gives a wrong number of digital buttons on my Logitech F710 and F310. There's one button that won't work. It may be an error in part of Logitech XInput descriptor. Have to check that again.

Hehe, nope. It was just a couple of long drinks for the occasion. After all I need to be back at the sweatshop today at 13:30 and let the other monkeys go home...

I need to alter the code a little bit as not to bind anything else than a interface that has XInput descriptor, even if forced.

I have a hunch that the XInput descriptor is a index of some sort to the bitmask we got, I assume it tells the number of nibbles or something for the number of digital and analog things when counted upon.
