What should I try there? As I said, the emulator itself is closed source, only the plugins are open source.

Thanks, but those are only binaries or the plugins (I think)
I'd need the FPSE AROS port sources to compile it for AbiV1 on hosted.

The original FPSE windows source is quite small, but it would need re-porting... :(

Is the source for fpse port available somewhere? I only found what I assume to be the original windows source for version 0.09

unfortunately i cannot accompany you here, since i dont have a build environment on windows, and as it occurs, mingw needs a window host to compile because it doesnt find the appropriate haeders or something like that otherwise. what an annoyance..

Yes, it might be a bit buggy... :) But the fpse plugin should be doable for AROS

It also was my first MUI class...

There are some memory issues if I recall correctly. Also Deadwood explained back then that only one task should ever tamper with the same context or something similar... It's on the stlview thread here somewhere. On the stlview maybe something else than memory also not get released? Maybe the VBO? Or those gl functions mapped to void pointers?

Thanks. Unfortunately this doesn't work with v0 mingw hosted. First it needs gallium.hidd, then the stdcio error.

Oh... mingw
I think this stuff depends heavily on x11 if on hosted, had to log on in this Fedora 28 with XOrg selected (Not Wayland)

Yep, I'm trying to do this on Windows. So there's no hope even for softpipe on Windows? Drats. I have CentOS with AROS hosted in a VM, but then I might as well boot up the native version.

The softpipe should be fine, it's only that there's no output driver. Don't take my word for it, Deadwood could tell how it really is...
