It looks like you're doing some kind of 'out of tree'-ish build?

Can you explain how you set that up?

afair we have never been past this point except i have listed all source explicitly and then there sill was some undefined symbols cause of stuff that had yet to be generated.

i must be dumb but i think we had this issue before. its Installer.c whats missing, and since it isnt any source, it might be that it is a problem with build_program script that assumes to have to build that source because the of the binary name.

shame on me, but i cannot think of whats wrong, have never be able to build that up till now.

To debug you can do in a line after FILES := ...
$(warning $(FILES))

You will get the contents of $FILES on the output.

so is it, though the mmakefile does fail even if placed in the src dir. i simply cannot imagine whats be wrong eith that except listing files by hand.

kinda still think, something must be wrong with this:
FILES := $(subst .c,,$(wildcard *.c))
even though.. what?

Looks fine to me, assuming that it's supposed to take a list of all *.c files in the current directory and remove the file extension from them.

And, by the way, are you planning to build it for 68K too?

No plans at the moment. But I would like to support 68k as well (and OS4). What is the most convenient solution for doing that? WinUAE?

Unluckily I cannot be of much help here... I guess you should just build sources as if they were meant for a classic Amiga computer. WinUAE surely is a reliable way to run both AROS M68K and original AmigaOS without messing with hardware.
