With VMWare Player you do not need to do this, you can disable the Floppy reader from the setting.

What I done in AspireOS is added to grub line Floppy=disable If I don't do that DOpus 4 and Janus-UAE will on many computers simply not start.

Dopus4 requires a physical or virtual floppy drive to be present in the system, without Floppy Drive crash VMWare Player :)

edit: The file I downloaded was actually an incomplete download. 7zip did work on it.
