It is cool and I wish Stephen all the best on the project and hope he can reach the amount to make it a reality.

Well it certainly will have the proper look and feel for a modern Amiga, and with the right parts it will be a beast running AROS. :D Personally I'm hoping to get it for a build that will help with development on real hardware. Doesn't hurt to have a proper retro inspired, but still highly versatile desktop to code on. Inspiration is all, as you know :)

It's really interesting, how fast some 30k EURO are reached there.
I am not the biggest fan of software bounties, but people spend more money on hardware for sure.

I'm planning the same and have already backed it. Hope he makes the goal. It's an amazingly versatile design.

Just figured I'd let you all know that the Checkmate A1500 plus case kickstarter is launching tonight at 8pm GMT. I'm currently looking for a new desktop case for my next AROS build and this looks very promising. :) Maybe someone else out there is looking as well? If so I'd check outhttp://www.amigasystems.com site for details andhttps://www.youtube.com/user/clusterukdevelopment for a live stream tonight when the kickstarter launches. I know Stephen Jones has contributed much to the various AROS bounties in the past and he certainly made this case with AROS users in mind. :)
