Neil: It is very nice that it is global. I experienced simelar with DOpus Megellan and some other programs.
Thx for the added feature. I'm waiting for night build to try it out. For today 23th i386 night build is not ready yet or is it not building for other reasons?

In theory there is also a simple workaround that could be added to the program: set ASLFR_PopToFront to TRUE when calling AslRequest().

edit: I don't mean that it is wrong that the requester opens on workbench but at least the program should switch to WB, else you think nothing happends when trying to open files in fullscreen mode.

sorry but ill hardly do any features. i simply try to get software compile and working. if i update the port these days and you are still not content, try to talk to marrlon about this.

The requester is supposed to grab the attention and switch over to WB, at least that's the effect on all other AmigaOS platforms (OS3, OS4, MorphOS and WarpOS).
If it doesn't I believe the issue lies in AROS and not on my end.

not me. but what do you mean with failed? the whole build? if something doesnt compile, disable it in mmakefile. or simply build particular modules that work and are of interest for you.

@nikolaos
pehaps you could try to ping mazze if he couldnt fire up another snapshot. i dont know hos to do that.
