Wi-fi is no problem. Just buy the right type on ebay.

You would need a micro pci-express wi-fi card adapter so I don't know if Micro ITX have that. Maybe it only have one normal pci-express slot you will use for gfx-card?

wi-fi would be nice but I could live with ethernet.

Buying some older stuff with USB 2.0 it is a big chance audio works. Do you plan to use wi-fi or ethernet?

Actually it looks like mini-ITX is the preferred option for the case (I may have misheard ATX).

So it sounds like I'll need to find a mini-ITX mobo with USB2.0 and IDE not SATA?

I'll need a supported video card too. Any wisdom on onboard audio (Intel HD works yeah?), onboard NIC?

For reference, here's the potential layout:

What do you mean is it possible?

To fit in the case of install AROS?

If the first you have to ask ClusterUK. If secound it does not realy matter the size of the mobo but if compatible or not is the question. As most hardware now is usb 3 we have no support for that so better look for something little older with USB 2. Something with core2duo are in my experience very good with AROS. Then you also have a good chance that sound with HD audio is working. Sure thing is to add cards but depends on slots you have aviable.
You should have native gfx, you must have networking and sound.
Come up with some alternatives and I can guide you.

I'm intrigued by @clusteruk's CDL 1500 plus case and was wondering whether there was any advantage in choosing between a micro-ATX or mini-ITX mobo for an AROS build? Is it possible?
