... what exactly it is showing you there when the boot process gets stuck. Usually, looking at your symptoms and action leading up to it, i would say: just re-install. Since you're in the process of getting yourself familiar with AROS, i can only suspect that you experienced multiple crashes already and/or tried every little command that you where able to locate (which is normal, please keep on doing so) but as i experienced myself it can lead up to 'damaging' the filesystem. Once there is a small hick-up, things usually go from bad to worse. Experience showed me that using suspend is not a good option and doing a reboot usually solve things the quickest. With regards to your OWB related issues. Have you already tried running OWB from ram: ? In ram everything is allowed to crash and mess things up as it is just ram. OWB crashes are usually not pretty and i personally try to avoid runing from physical disk (but that is my personal paranoia, not actual science based on statistics).

Just can't stay away

So I was going through games and checking them out as there are quite a few, which most of them are really nice. When I came across Net-Bubble, I just wanted to see what it looked like and chose cpu vs. cpu. It crashed with the normal suspend or reboot window, I chose suspend and it locked up. That's ok, I can just reboot it right? Well, on reboot, it's stuck at the text following GRUB, and that's as far as it goes.
![]() So is there a way to get in to fix whatever is wrong? Or is it re-install time?
