Well, I tried to surf the net a bit and there are a lot more issues with OWB 1.25. Besides tearing, I can't login to yahoo, or display the entire page. version 1.16 does it well. Just as an example. And forget a news site. 1.16 misses some java script features, but at least I can read the news. lol Moving/resizing the window didn't work, as a matter of fact, yahoo's screen just went blank, unlike 1.16. hmmm Not that Yahoo is my favorite site, but I do go there.

'Tearing' of graphics can be a problem on some sites for owb. Some are worse than others - your screen shot does look like one of the worse cases. There is a rather crude work-around - don't smooth scroll using the scroll bar or mouse wheel, click down the page using the scroll bar empty area. You can also get owb to redraw the page by just slightly resizing its window which sometimes gets the graphic redrawn, but not always.
Cheers, Nigel.

Ok guys... I installed the x-mas edition of Icaros in VMWare and OWB 1.25 does exactly what the other installs do. There are all kinds of anomalies and bleeding graphics upon scrolling. The images are corrupted as well, which I know it's because of the jfif library, so that's cool. So now I've installed Icaros on 1 machine and 3 VMs (2 with VirtualBox and 1 with VMWare) and it acts the same.
How in the world are you guys running it without issues? I run OWB 1.16 and it doesn't do that. Strange. Edit: Ok, I downloaded and extracted the jfif.library to Libs: and it seemed to have fixed the problem, sort of. 1 page still does it, the others are ok it seems. I also installed it on my machine with 2.1.3 and it seems good as well. More testing will tell. Now, if I can fix the network speed issue, it looks like I'm good to go.

It's hosted on Linux. I gave up entirely on windows. I have 1 VM with windows for those applications that require it. Otherwise all my machines (6 of them) run Linux. Opensuse Leap to be specific. I have installed VMWare player and installing icaros in that instead. All I wanted to do was find out if OWB acted better in another version. Now I've got 4 installs. lmao.

@Superchicken
Well, and are you running Icaros hosted on Linux or Windows? Windows hosted has no network support --> can't run OWB at all.

It is hosted. My other installs are on real hardware. (remember, I am a hardware guy by trade) Running an OS in a "hosted" environment is new to me, but I'm taking a crash course. lol

My previous installs were on Virtualbox and real hardware. This is my first time with a "hosted" OS. I did set the subnet address properly. and I did try DHCP. It is set to 10.0.x.x now.

That's the IP address used by default for TAP/TUN adapter under Linux hosted. It shouldn't appear on native Icaros. So, either you're using the hosted version without configuring the host network part, OR you have messed something somewhere, and on your native installation you haven't TCP/IP running properly. Without AROSTCP being already loaded, OWB does NOT run.
