Hi,
Thanks, just noticed the color selection on the color range oval/circle does not work the first time selected but does after using the dropper tool. Jeff

Best is not typing anything in the font selection field, use the popup font selector. (I'll remove the possibility to type directly in it) You can select font, adjust size and color, the text will be modified real time and be only frozen once you "paste it" (left clic) in the picture. Quote:
I'll have to check this, haven't thought about these options. Quote:
It has the same functions for photo editing than ZuneView (the MUI class handling everything is shared between ZuneView and ZunePaint) but adds painting possibilities. I don't known if it's more this or that, you can see it as a poor's man paint.net. Quote:
The palette is for the moment only a quick way to select basic colors, if you need more, you'll have to use the color wheel (clic of the current color button to open it). I'll add the possibility to edit and save the palette later on. Quote:
Thanks

Hi,
You are right, font size not available. Instant crash. So if you're not happy with a small aspect of the text, delete / undo and try again? Just wondered what options are available after left clicking and finalised. Especially discovering a problem later.... After clicking on a line, shape, fill, text icon etc brings up additional options along side but clicking again, does not remove those extra options. Which I find confusing when choosing other options (crop, rotate, etc) further along. It may have a bearing on my previous issues. Sorry about the questions, hean asked an interesting one. Is the app more a photo edit tool like FXPaint or freehand/painting app like dpaint? The palette selection on the right, anyway to change the default colours in the 2 columns below or is the eye dropper tool to be used whilst painting? Does any of the palette colours used on the canvas tab get saved with the picture ? Liking it so far. Jeff

@Jeffrey
To write text in picture : 1- Select text mode 2- Select Font/size (can be changed later on again) 3- Move cusor to picture (don't click yet) 4- type in the text 5- You can still modify the font/size/color of your text 6- Move text where you want it and left click Please tell me more about your crash, may be you've entered text in the font selection field, I've already seen a crash of the font requester if you enter a font/size that can't be found. Thanks for the report.

The only small problem I could find was when using the "fill" tool, is that the "pointer" area is not where the pointer icon would make you believe it is, adding a small crosshair to aim with could be a quick solution to that small problem.

Hi
Thanks, for this. I tried to enter text on to a picture and get a input.device error and aros freezes. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Seems to happen with jpg rather than png (using old jfif.library). Is it possible to add a bounding box so that so that there is an indicaton where the text will go and it can be then be reclicked so that more text can be amended/added later? Is there a way to crop a picture, copy to another tab and resize the new tab canvas dimensions to suit what you now need (ie usually smaller than before) ? Is there a way to crop a png file, have trouble selecting the icon option. Jeff

This is really starting to look very good, finally a non-pixelart image editor for AROS
![]() Made my first wallpaper for AROS, inside AROS, which is awesome ![]() The only small problem I could find was when using the "fill" tool, is that the "pointer" area is not where the pointer icon would make you believe it is, adding a small crosshair to aim with could be a quick solution to that small problem. Great work, I have personally missed an image editing program like crazy under AROS, and now I finally have one, thanks to you, so thank you very much ![]() @amiga: OWB worked fine for the sourceforge download for me, using OWB 1.25 from aros archives site
