I think AROS will turn out to be the most emulated OS in history if we keep this up.

Another solution is to boot AROS through a PC-emulator, like VmWare, Bochs or Qemu, and to have the disk saved on an hardfile.

After I answered to your precedent post, I made some tests. ![]() I didn't managed to multiboot AROS and Windows, but could split the disk between them: First of all, install W2k at first IDE harddisk, first partition, FAT32, but manage a non partitioned space after this partition. Then, boot from the AROS live CD, run HDToolBox, add the second partition ("partition1"), as PC-MBR, and create one AROS/RDB partition in this partition (DH0)! Then save, CTRL-A-A to soft reboot AROS, open a Shell, type Assign to verify you have the new partition (as DH0: if you didn't forget to enable the right switches (bootable and automount)), then SYS:Extras/Aminet/Format64, ie: format64 drive dh0: name System ffs quick Break Wanderer or soft reboot, you have the dh0: volume. If you don't bother to multiboot AROS but want to have an AROS partition to save datas on, go that way. w2k stays untouched, and AROS still can boot on the Live CD... |

Since its currently not possible to install a multiboot system (qnx, Aros and WinXP Pro) would it be possible to install the AROS first then resize the partition to make available for other OS'es to be installed?
with a product like partition magic or some such thing I really want AROS but need WinXP (QNX is a nice to have)
