Well, since i'm unable to comment on the archives, i report here just in case it would otherwise be forgotten:
cross binutils mingw32 to arm -> arm-aros-ld: unrecognised emulation mode: armelf_aros Supported emulations: armelf_linux_eabi armelfb_linux_eabi. I had to create my own (cross) binutils in order to get this to work. armelf_aros is emulation mode 5 iirc.

I seem unable to leave a comment on the aros archives, because there is a missing keyword image.
I already wondered why there were no comments made in whole of 2106. I guess, now i know why
