I have, but then at the next boot, it's all "Non system disk" this and "press any key" and "forgive me this" and "I'm not worthy..."

just boot AROS with the grub command "nofdc" that will stop the trackdisk.device loading... thus killing the floppy drive click... Floppys are for loosers anyway

The novelty has worn off

IIRC stopping the drive clicking was just a case of a couple of OS calls, is that the same for AROS? I recall a conversation about it on Amiga.org, but I can't find it now, clicks (drive, mouse and otherwise) for me to wade through the search results.

Can it be stopped using the same method, and has someone made a little proggy or will I have to attempt to code my own? (Assuming I can manage something so complex as an OS call )

(BTW - *finally* got AROS installed properly on my spare PC!)
