Another little update for Icaros Desktop 1.3.3 is available for download. This patch introduces all the latest improvements from Krzysztof Smiechowicz (the ones he sent to AROS-EXEC.org on Jan. 20), but includes also latest updates to Zune NList classes and fixes AmiBridge's "ADD ADF" script, which didn't work correctly when the "AROS A1200" option was used for Amiga? games. Round one of Paper Cuts has come to an end. During the 3 months that we have been working on the project, a total of 75 bugs have been fixed.

We'd like to thank all users and supporters for their enthusiasm and their patience. So, the time is good to release a little patch which include all the paper-cuts and bug fixes developed since the release of Icaros Desktop 1.3.3.

The latest version of the popular AROS distribution Icaros Desktop has been released. This update extends hardware 3D acceleration to netbooks and other systems with GMA950/3100 graphic processing units, includes all the "AROS paper cuts" bug fixes done so far, and brings some new games and applications.

In an effort to help make AROS more stable, we'd like to put together a list of at least 100 Paper Cuts.

Each paper cut will be discussed within the community before being added to the list.

The magazine Obligement published an interview with Pavel Fedin. He is speaking of recent and future improvements, like new hosted ports, screen dragging, kernel code merges, ACPI, memory management and other things.

Version 1.3.2 of the popular AROS distribution is now available.

A new versions of Mesa 3D library and Nouveau video drivers are available for AROS.

The major functionality introduced in this release is a full 2D/3D support for selected models from latest nVidia video card family - Fermi (GeForce 400/500 series), putting most powerfull rendering capabilties in hands of AROS user.

MorphOS Team will be an additional sponsor for Amiganoid Event on 17th of September 2011 in Essen/Germany. This is the good news, the bad news is, there probably won't be an AmigaOne X1000 on display. Photos will be uploaded from time to time during the show. So, check out www.geobiz.de/amiganoid.html on a regular basis on that day, in order to keep uptodate ! Way better would be, to just join us, though.
