Paolo Besser has posted another status update at the AROS homepage. Among other stuff, a new timer.device offers the UNIT_MICROHZ feature and the linux hosted version of AROS can run in fullscreen mode now.

Michal Schulz, author of the NIC driver for nForce 1-4 chipsets (see previous news-item), is looking for betatesters. For details, please consult his weblog. Also the latest binary has been published there.

Michal Schulz has finished a NIC driver for AROS to support the nForce, nForce2, nForce3 and nForce4 chipset. Thus, the Team AROS bounty 27 has been completed. The source code has been commited to SVN.

The bounty project of a GTK-MUI wrapper has been ported to AROS now. As stated by the author, Oliver 'o1i' Brunner, its development will continue from now on under AROS, the compatibility with AmigaOS 3.1 will be checked from time to time.

Ben Armstrong, Program manager on the Virtual machine team at Microsoft, is talking about AROS in his Weblog. He tested AROS running under Virtual PC and Virtual Server, respectively.
