AssaultCube Reloaded V2.5.9 for Icaros has been released.

Airsoft Softwair is happy to announce the immediate availability of Hollywood 5.3. Version 5.3 is a major update which includes several new features as well as important bug fixes. Most new functionality is introduced in the Android version which comes with a fully native Java-based GUI now, supports many new commands from the desktop versions and has hardware-accelerated scaling now. But also the desktop versions of Hollywood have improved with release 5.3. Here is a brief overview of new features in 5.3:

WookieChat is a multi-platform (AmigaOS 3, AmigaOS 4, MorphOS and AROS), MUI-based IRC client which was initially developed by James Carroll. I'm currently looking for people interested in either maintaining the MorphOS/AmigaOS builds and/or improving the existing program. If you are interested, just let me know.

New version 1.5.2 of AROS distribution Icaros Desktop has been released. The update brings fresh system files, some new applications and many bug fixes, improving speed, stability and compatibility. eGame now fully lives-up to it's description as a "Game Launcher", because it's now possible to add disk images & 'foreign' executables, and have them automatically loaded by the appropriate emulator (e.g. Hatari, DOSBox, VICE, E-UAE) or game system (e.g. Frotz).

RunInDOSBox allows MS-DOS programs to be easily run inside DOSBox. You need to either use eGame, or a shell script, to start MS-DOS programs. (Actually you can also use RunInDOSBox as the tool of an icon.)

Note that eGame is compatible with RunInDOSBox, and provides a quick way of starting your (MS-DOS) games.

Tomorrow i get to sample packages. Jason worked and still work hard to enhance AROS m68k and the emulation side. Fabio Falcucci is proving again the flexibility of the Hollywood language.

Version 1.5.1 of AROS distribution Icaros Desktop is now available for download, in all three flavours (Live!, Light and update pack for current Icaros users).

eGame allows you to keep an easily searchable list of games for playing - rather than having to hunt through lots of folders using Workbench/Wanderer/Ambient. Please note that eGame is only able to start games that you can already run by double-clicking them.
