Resized Image
PortablE is a recreation of the AmigaE programming language, along with all the improvements I wanted. PortablE works on AROS, MOS, OS4, and even Windows to an extent! (It should also work on OS3, but compiling needs a powerful machine like WinUAE.)

The Subversion repository with the source code of AROS has found a new home on a server which is maintained by Neil Cafferkey und Staf Verhaegen. Since the URL didn't change existing working copies can furthermore be used.

That should solve the problem that in the past it took weeks to get an account. The new procedure for getting an account is here.

AROS : Icaros Desktop 2.0.3 now available
Posted by paolone On 2015/1/31 14:13:45 (9643 reads)

A new version of Icaros Desktop is now available for download. It refreshes AROS files to current ABIv0 nightly builds and fixes themes and locale files, which were broken in v2.0.2. It also introduces a couple of nice new features, like italian translation for DirectoryOpus 5 and YouTube Center script, which allows users to download videos from YouTube with OWB, in a very customizable fashion.

The second "major release" of Icaros Desktop, your beloved AROS distribution, is now available for download. After 18 months of hard work, many internal beta releases and countless of additions and bug fixes, it brings a completely new interface based on DirectoryOpus 5 Magellan, a more polished M68K environment for classic Amiga games and applications, many new applications (among of them: ZuneView and ScalOS), and the faster TLSF memory manager recently introduced in AROS.
