Thanks
Sorry for the lacking informations on AROSTCP, but after ConfigIP has done its work, I thought the simpliest way to go was a warm reset. Save your IP files and then Ctrl+lAros+rAros, and you should be OK. I'll look for an updated version of MurksIDE before releasing a new snapashot. Thanks for pointing me at it. regards,

This is great!
I downloaded and setup it up in less than 15 minutes and I think that I spent more than half of that time actually looking for and installing a freeware RAR archive unpacker than I did actually setting it all up. The only thing that I had to work around was the ConfigIP script which only saves the FTP server settings persistently. I changed the script to save the other AROSTCP stuff to ENVARC: instead of ENV: and then copy all of the relevant stuff to ENV:, but I did not spend too much time in trying to figure out how to reinitialize AROSTCP after a change, I tried ifconfig eth0 -dn but it just sits there without ever returning or downning the interface and the RX command to send a KILL signal to the AROSTCP REXX port does not seem to accomplish much. I just have one AROSTCP question though. I know that this is not so much a VMWAROS question, but is DHCP not supported at this time? I tried previously to get it to work in a previous VM image I had created, but could never manage to get it to wotk with anything other than a static IP address? Anyway, I'm now happily playing with some code through MurksIDE! ![]()
