Who knows. MESA is MIT licensed and neither MOS nor AOS4 took advantage of AROS port. Besides, remember that we got MPlayer and Odysses for free.

My suggestions:

- must be based on AROS-compatible license (BSD, MIT, etc)
- must be able to use existing drivers API at least for IPv4 mode

Plus ask mos/os4 users to join otherwise they will eat this for free since we are opensource..

I would like to start discussions on a bounty for an updated TCP/IP stack.

Requirements:

IPv4 (all core features)
IPv6 (all non-crypto core features)
UDP and TCP protocols. SCTP etc. are optional.

Multicast support
compatible with bsdsocket.library (IPv6 Can use an extended API.)

Suggested by Deadwood:

- must be based on AROS-compatible license (BSD, MIT, etc)
- must be able to use existing drivers API at least for IPv4 mode
