I'm a little confused. I see the following:

odyssey-1.25-11.i386-aros.zip 23-Feb-2017
owb-1.25.i386-aros.zip 02-Apr-2016

and you really suggest that older one?
What's the difference? The readme's do look similar?

And btw,
These crashes do not occur in a VMware installation, only in the hosted variant under Debian Sid 64Bit. Therefore the idea to test the whole thing under a 32 bit installation. Possibly the multiarch support is a problem.

not only the filename. a number of flags or the like are stilln carrying this label, and not only this, the dependencies are not branched from each other in a clean way. one day perhaps someone needs to take care of this. currently there are two platforms i would like to be served with the current source. then understanding and sorting out mui as an interface could progress, then newest webkit could be easier to adapt,

It is quite confusing that the Odyssey browser is still called "owb" in the filename...
(I know they share the same heritage)

But for anyone new it is totally unclear that owb and owb can be two different browsers...

(And it is also strange that the old totally unstable version is still included in a brand new release of Icaros - that makes the first run for every new user a guaranteed frustrating experience - bravo!)

perhaps odyssey from aros archives is more to your liking;

I now have often tryed Icaros Desktop as hosted install on my debian unstable system.
Sadly it is very crash friendly and unstable, so not usuable.
I really like that system, but i have no supported real hardware available for Aros. OWB is totaly unusable, since it will chrash short after start. Is there anything i can check, why the Aros system is so unstable?
