Actually, the squeaky wheel gets replaced.
 I've got an nVidia FX5600 in my main machine, so if no one else gets around to looking at it, I probably will. It's all a matter of when... I've already got quite a few things I'm looking at.

In that age old saying "The squeaky wheel gets the oil"
WANT MY HARDWARE ACCELERATED GRAPHICS BACK!!!! At one time, a long time ago, I was able to enjoy the crispness of the beloved NVidia driver. Sadly that day ended about 3-4 months ago. Now "....NVida.hidd...unable to load.." I have reported this before but it seems to be getting lost in the excitment of everything else. It would seem unreasonable to assume that I would be the only person with this issue. It has already been determined that my video card's venderID etc. is in the driver database. But, alas, no joy in NVida land. Please don't be mad about me keeping on this.... At one time I was told a dev was/might be looking at this and then nothing for some time. The last nightly build still didn't work for me.... Sad, sad indeed...  |
