Hi,

And how do we, or I, switch off a global system message from xoops itself?

You cant, its part of the core system that runs this site and its how the Xoops developers have made this system.

@Mysha

iirc that's just a global system message from xoops itself.

Hi,

I'm now getting a balloon pop-up to thank me for my submission, a few seconds after each message I send.
- It clashes with the over-all style.
- It's late.
- It doesn't say who is thanking me.
But mostly:
- I'm posting for the benefit of those I reply to, and for my own; these thanks sort of degrade it to another drop in the bucket/lake/ocean.

So, while someone, with faster everything, a different taste, and an other culture, may like this, I would still like to know:
Is there a way to switch this off, globally or personally?

Mysha

(And even this very post is going to get one, of course.)
