Most USB boards will work if you enable USB emulation in the BIOS.
Native USB wont work since as 4 says we dont have drivers yet.....

Yes, I find out that it works only with PS/2 mouse. But why only this one?

@Holley
----------- AROS can only use PS/2 type mice! ------------ I'll have to remember that Also, I had problem booting from CD on a 200 mhz PC. I had to D/L the floppy boot disk and boot from floppy with AROS-MAX, something to do with the BIOS on the older PC's.

Whatever else is on the PC (Linux, Windows, or whatever) won't affect how AROS starts from the CD, so whatever problems you have are down to it not getting on with your hardware.
Some other people have a had problems when trying to get PCs with a P1 to boot from the CD - though it will often work ok if booted from floppy then warm-booted with the CD in the drive. One thing to remember with older PCs is that AROS can only use PS/2 type mice!

The problem is that booting off a CD was an afterthought for PCs. As such, there is no one solution which works on all PCs. The best you can do is use a method that works on most of your target audience.

Now I try the AROS-Max too. In a P4 with win'98 and UHU Linux it boot's with no problem.
But in a P1 with Mandrake Linux it says that "please insert a bootable disk in any drive." What's the matter?

I think about the PC is a bit of special, because the cdrom is scsi, but the hard drive is ide. I think that this is the main problem.
Now I download Aros-Max and it's working, but I want to try it on a P166 with 64 MB ram and 1 MB S3 VGA. Should I try it, or maybe not?

Bochs: when I last tried it worked if at the grub boot menu you edit away the "ATA=32bit,forcedma" from the "kernel" line.
