I'm re-uploading it. I have tested the original archive with 7zip and gives no error. So in a few hours the issue will be fixed once forever.

oops, I went to bed last night around 9.30pm because of feeling sick. I woke up today and the download had finished around midnight.. thanks anyway though! its good how people will go to great lengths to help others here. But, please check your main download link for the VE archive. It seems corrupt. The AmiKit link is working fine, and has a different md5sum.
Time to fix Sabre!!

weird to see all that problems with your archives ? (remember we had some issues with some tar.gz and tgz archives).

A user on IRC reported that the Amikit hosted download link works for him (extracts fine), and a different user reported that the main download link didnt work and failed in the same places as it did for me. I've got 35% of the Amikit link now, and the transfer is due to finish in 4 hours, and the torrent went too slow here.. The main link was fast for me this morning, I think it arrived in 30 minutes or so.

Are you talking about the Live CD, or the Virtual Machine environment? I want the VM environment..........

1.1 is old, please download 1.1.1 instead and boot it using the switch ATA=nopci.
regarding the 7z issue, I can only suggest to use the latest version either on Windows or Linux, I absolutely don't know why on AmigaOS it should create problems. If the proplem persists, I will upload a zipped version too.

Download from Megaupload (389 MB, 7z file format)
Download from FileDropper (389 MB, 7z file format) These two file download links no longer work....... I'll continue to download the Amikit link.. 3.5 hours left to go on this transfer.

I just spent a few minutes unarchiving with WinUAE.. same errors on the same files! 7-Zip 4.65 from aminet, and also tried the two download links from the recommended archivers page for windows..
