I see you point and understand that the webkit will be demanding.

The Natami60 has of course not the horse power of a 2Ghz CPU - but nevertheless its quite swift for a classic system.
The 68060 is about twice as high clocked as a Cyberstorm 060.
The GFX system (Chipmem/Blitter) is a lot faster than AGA/Cybervision/Voodoo are.
The Fastmem is a couple of times faster than the Cyberstorm memory. So if your application is working a lot in the memory the Natami will easily run 3-4 times faster than the fastest classic 060 did ran.

Its clear that the WebKit won't "fly" on a low clocked CPU.
But the Natami60 is just the first developer system, there might come other Natami version with 200-400 Mhz after it.

I think we have to wait until the port of Traveller is finished to test it.

I think that OWB is running not very fast might be a combination of different factors. One of them certainly is the demand of the Webkit, another might be the very low memory performance of the AmigaONE.

I honestly dont know, biggun, because i doubt that even natami can run webkit smoothly; it is big and the basic features are already ovetaking machines on OWB on a PPC... guess if people still want natami it is the time to decide that there will need to be really two flavors of aros: classic for 68k/low end machines and cutting-edge for all the remaining specs where to experiment all those features as we speak. Of course at least the 1.0 goal has to be met first....

Okay,

It would be nice if you could move the money that I donated to the Aweb bounty, instead to the "Kickstart ROM Replacement Bounty".

Porting AWeb is obsolete now, that a much better browser Traveller is in progress.

I feel that it makes good sense to support the "Kickstart ROM Replacement Bounty", now as the new 68K Amigas showing up. New 68K Amigas beeing Minimig and Natami

As the Natami is quite fast and supports lost of memory, it should be possible to run Traveller and other AROS apps well on it.
I believe that AROS might be nice fit for the NATAMI.

Thanks in advance

Cheers

Hi,

I would like to move money that I donated to a now obsolete bounty, to a more useful bounty now.

How can I do this?
I have emailed this request but got no answer so far.
Maybe my email were overlooked?

Cheers
