Hi Yannick, Is there any chance you could take a look at lodepaint? main_program/src/lpi/lpi_pathfind.cpp wont compile with newer gcc versions.

Hi,

Can I ask if any effects can be applied to the text input. 2D stuff like rotating, increasing the size of the font at one end, gaussian blur etc or even 3D like wrapping text round an object like a sphere ?

Can text be copied accurately to another tab so that borders, drop shadows etc can be added or merged in ? It seems in Paint.net that these can only be achieve via copying to another layer and moving the text slightly to achieve the effect.

Jeff

Hi Yannick,
I've just got around to downloading ZunePaint - looks really good! It inspired me to have another look at the tablet discussion earlier in the month. I plugged in the (toy) tablet we have and noted in Trident it was just registerd as a HID device.

However, in the device configuration options there is one for 'Tablet' with the possibility of sending pressure data, so I guess this can be supported for proper tablets; how a program would read the data in though I don't know. However, Trident is flexible so you could simulate receiving pressure data without a tablet by say using a analgue joystick and changing one of its inputs to generate the pressure data.

I believe there is IDCMP stuff related to it but its been a while since ive "noticed" anything in that regard.

Hi,

Thanks for the zoom button for the cut out piece. Seems I was resizing the canvas tab image in previous emails not the cut clip. Can also confirm the issue that Paolone mentions in native GMA as well.

@Paolone,

This will be corrected in next release.

Thanks for the report

Hi Yannick

The ability to take a piece and zoom it is great! On hosted, however, I noticed that when I reduce the size of the "piece", the underlying image is not refreshed properly, so it gets messed. The workaround for it is just move the pointer over the impacted part, and "clean" it.

I've updated ZunePaint:
- copy/paste object can be resized (through slider or using mouse wheel)
- airbrush tool added
- hardness slider activated
- corrected one bug leading to crash when pasting object partially out of picture (on bottom/left of picture)
- replaced color alpha channel by global opacity slider
- box/circle/ellipse buttons are now 3 states buttons, replacing "fill" check box
- removed unecessary data from gradient definition files (reduced by 64kB!), old files aren't compatible
