@QBit

What drivers are you using? Seeing that the crash occurs at the same address but with different programs makes me wonder if the crash is actually occurring in an interrupt handler.

Well I reinstalled Icaros and had this Bug after reinstalling Icaros.. IPrefs crashed on boot Process .and Icaros refused to Boot.further.. then I had the same PCx07FE87EA9 Bug even after booting the Icaros DVD and klicking the install AROS Button, I am a little paranoid but somehow I have the unsure impression this PC is a Adress where Hackers can make AROS crash *lol* because anything is running fine again at the moment... and it only happens when I am doing something relevant! Except of now when I 'm writing this Icaros runs again like a charm ! *lol*

I will add Pictures in a moment!

Ok, i see.

But i am still confused. Because i had the impression it only happened when you have OWB started ?

So now you tell it happens sporadically ? As in i started icaros desktop, i do absolutley nothing and the error-requester pops-up (with the mentioned pc) ?

Or is it that you actually have to do something to make that error-requester appear ? In that case it happens when you acces files, compile _or_ are starting (or browsing with) OWB ?

If the latter, it would be very helpfull if you can find something (actions/program) that is 100% capable of reproducing the error. So for example if you do a dir on dh0 in the shell (you could make up a shell-script for doing so continiously)

As for suggestions, i regularly run into troubles with the shell. It can do strange things when a _lot_ of output is produced. Mostly solvable by setting the stacksize.

Hi QBit,

Perhaps not obvious, but not ewverybody is able to see what's in your mind. So for you this 'bug-report' is perhaps understandable, but for others it's not so

If you are reporting a bug it would be very helpfull if you can state what it is exactly what you are doing (what causes the bug to happen) and secondly it would help if the bug is reproducable.

So for example:
/start of example/

Bug: I am unable to perform format c: in the dos-shell

I did the following steps to reproduce (100% reproducable on Icaros Desktop 1.2.6):
1: Open up a shell
2: when prompt type "format c:" (without quotes)
3: press enter

This always returns a "unknown command or filename" for me. Is this suppose to happen ? could anyone verify this for me please ?

/end of example/

You see the difference QBit ?
