One thing I miss from the Amiga days is the ability to just switch off, and it seems more of a desire with Windows XP than ever before

IIRC, Kal has a library for shutdown. I asked about this a few months ago when I thought we were real close in getting FAT32. Yes, it's still being worked on, but real life keeps getting in the Dev's way. :/

Is there a "gracefull" way to shut down Aros. Right now I do the old "hit the button" and poof it is off method.
