This may be a bug in the menu bar. Try entering 'info' in a command shell and see what it says.
I get 16MB in the menu bar but 488.3M RAM from info, and linux shows AROS is using the right amount.

I read back through the thread again, I thought someone else before had the problem with AROS only seeing 16M RAM even though its given more
cd ~/AROS/icaros-pc-i386 ./Arch/linux/AROSBootstrap -m 500

@MangoNuts
Thank you for having taken the time to report back. That is actually a bit weird, perhaps could even be considered a bug ? At the least you could try report it as a feature request. I did not notice the restriction as all my machines are hooked up to HD and therefor never tried to go beyond those dimensions.

Just confirming that after disconnecting the smaller second monitor and rebooting linux, AROS then presented the full range of screen modes appropriate for the remaining monitor (up to 1920x1080). So it looks like AROS could be limiting its maximum resolution to the smaller of the connected screens.

The AROS screen is opening in a KDE window, but even changing the default width and height as you suggest has no effect.
I'm wondering if AROS is detecting the max resolution of my secondary monitor and limiting the options to that. I'll try the same AROS system on another Linux machine with a single screen and see what happens, hopefully I can get the full screen size.
