Are you aware that coherency mode runs a bit slower as full-screen mode ?
-coherency mode works really well and fast, problems are only games without coherency mode

According to your specifications (that are almost similar to mine) that should not (have to) be a problem.
-As it looks at you from when you start an ADF game? Is there only a gray screen is the 30 seconds and then it'll just continue?

According to your answers you know more about emulation then you give yourself credit for , so i won't bother you with the things you already know. But it leaves me puzzled as well.

- i have read an article in the Amiga Future, where you have installed the same board in (ARES XL), think all runing good and stable, sound no problems, network no problems, graphics runs like a dream with AROS Native Games
(DukeNukem3d very fast) I think that is no graphic card Problem. I have put in a nvidia 8600gt 512mb , the same problems nothing is faster.

Hmmm meinst Du es liegt am Onboard Chip? Also eigentlich l?uft hier alles Butterweich, auch z.B Duke Nukeem, das Flitzt nur so ?bern Schirm.

Mir kommt es eher so vor als ob dieser Janus ne Macke hat, bzw. was ich schon nicht normal finde sobald man irgendein Spiel startet h, hab ich erstmal ein graues Bild dann dauert es erstmal 30-40 sek bis ?berhaupt was los geht.

Beispiel Oil Imperium, Bild Grau ca 30 sek , dann kommt erst das Amiga Dos Bild, bis er dann geladen hat duert es nochmal.
Dann klick ich auf die ?lbohrinsel und dann dauert es wieder ewig bis hier was passiert.Selbes Verhalten auch bei den vorinstallierten Games (ADF`s).


Also ich habe hier noch ne Gainwar Nvidia 8600gt 512mb liegen,
wird die Unterst?tzt?

Naja der Artikel in der Amigafurute wurde nicht gepr?ft und ist ein wenig fehlerhaft. Nicht soo schlimm.

Ne ich dachte du hast ne andere Version mit unterst?tzem onbaord chip. Gibt /gab es n?mlich auch. Dann w?re es ein anderes Board und ich k?nnte es nicht nachpr?fen.

Schon mal ne andere Grafikkarte reingesetzt?
AROS und onboard ist so ne Sache, da chipsettreiber fehlen l?uft alled ?ber eine Leitung. Eine extra PCIe Karte bringt mehr Speed.

Es ist das selbe Mainboard, einzig die Netzwerkkarte habe ich zugesteckt,
Es geht hier nicht um Finanzierung , ich habe mir z.b das alivex Paket gekauft im Shop und auch Paolo f?r seine Arbeit an Icaros etwas Geld per Paypal gespendet.Damit habe ich auch schon mal ein Beitrag geleistet.

Ich habe nur dieses Mainboard in meinen Linux Rechner verwendet mit einer Athlon x2 CPU, warum sollte ich, wenn ich die Voraussetzungen schon habe mir die selbe Hardware nochmals kaufen? Gerade weil ich den Artikel in der AF gelesen habe, bin ich jetzt ?berhaupt zum Thema Aros gekommen.Warum sollten die Angaben dort nicht stimmen?

Was heist euae, gibt es den mit einer GUI ?

Der AresOne XL verwendet keinen RTL8169 komptiblen chip.
Verk?ufe des AresOne XL sollen den "neuen" Treiber finanzieren.

Die Angaben im Amigafuture Artikel stimmen wahrschienlich nicht.

Davon ab gibt es f?r dein Problem keine L?sung.

Emulier nen 020er mit JIT und drossel den auf 500er Niveau.
N?her dran geht es nicht mit JanusUAE.

Versuche alternativ den normalen EUAE.

yes i see this Manual, cohence mode run smooth.

My problem is run old games like Oil Imperium and others,
the emulation is too slow. disk loading operations from start to workbench screen

take so seconds between 30 -50, only then starts to load at all on workbench. when you start a game it is though but the sound is too slow even though the machine is configured correctly.

512kb chip & 512kb slow mem

i have a ARES Clone with 3ghz Athlon X2 & Aspire One Netbook booth the same problem : it`s to slow

at icaros are also a few pre-installed adf games included, so it behaves the same. I think the topic should try out a developer, it is not usable at least for old games to play.

Mich Interessiert im Moment die Emulation eines normalen A500 in normaler Geschwindigkeit f?r z.B Oil Imperium. Am besten mit ner Kick 1.3 Festplatte.(Also nichts mit 020, das wird zu schnell , besonders beim Bohren :)

Ich habe hier ein A1200 mit ACA1231 stehen, damit ist das Thema auch durch.

Mich Interessiert, es das ganze unter AROS am Start zu bekommen. Entweder mit dem Janus oder vielleicht wenn es noch gibt auch auf andere weise.
Das hier sind meine ersten geh versuche unter AROS. Ich fange
Praktisch bei 0 an.
