AROS like many other open-source, community-driven projects, has it's ups and downs. Yes, there are bounties (money involved), but still, developers are humans, and there are no "contracts" signed between them and the community.

Just like motivation has brought great things here, the same quality can be missed at times bringing stuff to a halt.

Let's just wait and see what happens. I'm sure Tigger will provide a status update any time now.

Evil Rich had released E-UAE in the past, so there's no string attached to his avatar name... besides, there's no need to panic, is there?

@Nikolaos
I quote you.

Have no money involved in those bounties but I feel like the reliability of the project AROS itself is affected from people like evil_rich (and the nick itself was kind of anticipating the thing).

At least Tigger can be retrieved on amiga.org adn amigaworld.net.

BTW, according tohttp://www.powerdeveloper.org/forums/viewtopic.php?p=10782#10782

there is a new hosted build dated may 18, therefore the worklooks like going on.

Guess that should be good if anybody that has concrete interest on it, like people who offered money for the bounty, like to give him a shoot on the above mentioned forum and ask for a status update, plus an explaination of possible problems.

This is an open source project and despite the bounty developers are not on their own: they will receive support from other developers to solve their problems.

This is IMQHO.

I'm tired of people just quiting their projects. It's very bad for us. I feel sad for everyone waiting, and expecting something. What is wrong with this people. Is it so hard to just give a word that I can't make it, or I got to have more time. Other people might do this bountys, but not as long as they are taken.
