I still plan on working on some native drivers for various things, but I recently got sidetracked by installing the Linux hosted version on my Opteron system. I've been looking into various things like "play" and sound in Doom. I will get back to the drivers in the next few weeks. I do want to be able to here sound when running in native mode.

i think the ac97 is a good place to study (as the void)
So do I

i did make sound on the pc-speaker, and i think it´s possible to use that on the ahi driver (but ahi melt my brain down)...i make sound on the pc-speaker using busy-loop, so the two jobs are 1) adapt the code for ahi and 2) create some way of interruption (for no busy-loop)...well, i hope the pc-speaker driver doesnt die before born!

regards all!

PS:michal, georg, martin and course kalamate are invited to join this huge project! =oD (oh...and fabio too) =oD
