Yes, VERY premature. AROS doesn't even have networking support, and who would want to infect five computers when there are millions of Windows machines just waiting.
 You do have a good point. SetFunction() should be secured in some manner. Some sort of PD virus checker should be written and made part of the normal distro as well.

Well - this is a little too premature to discuss it
 And it is very likely it is pointless to discuss it, but anyway -Have any of you ever though how AmigaOS/AROS are a paradise for viruses? Think about SetPatch()! You just can't track them. I remember my last AmigaOS installation to have more than 200 functions patched... So easy. Without user's knowledge. Without asking. Patching a kernel function - no problem. Think about AREXX ports in each application! That must be even worse than MS' vbasic!But seriously - someone should really think about securing kernel and stop unnoticeable SetPatches!
