Ah, well, one nice little advantage of working with the hosted build is that you can do development. Of course this will change over time (eventually you will be able to do development natively under AROS). When that works, I'll look at an HD install. It's also easier to download files and add them to the environment, as native doesn't have any network drivers or software yet.

@ olivier

He's probably talking about the NVIDIA driver (he's said he did change screenmode trough dopus, you can't do that with VESA).

A ScreenMode prefs is about to materialize, I already have a prototype on my HDD, expect it by tomorrow or at worst the end of the week (depending on my workload).

You can switch the screenmode, but only at boot time:

When you see "Grub", after the bios rapport, you can "navigate" (up down keys, e to edit, b to boot, c for a "shell"...) through the different listed "booting modes".
Each one listed give you different environments: having or not an nvidia, or willing to have 1024x768x32.

Highlight one of the other modes, then Enter...

You can change screenmode, not while it's running though. Are you running native or under Linux?

Although only at 640x480, I was amazed by the instant response, not that I weren't expecting it due to its Amiga Roots, but somehow it never fails to amaze me!

Now give us ScreenMode! ;)

P.S- I've seen other modes through DOpus, but not much to play around
