Cool !. Maybe split the Installer bounty into many smaller sections. Question: Is it possible to configure Grub2 for an AROS SFS boot partition "straight off the bat" ?

IIRC, GRUB2 supports SFS now. It would be a question of back porting it to AROS' version of GRUB1.

Well I got a email from the author of SFS. He suggests that the time is right to contact the GRUB2 devs and ask them to incorporate SFS capability into Grub. I think I emailed the Grub guys a while back on this issue but got no response.
Should I bother them again ?

I'm waiting on Mschulz's reply to Kalamatee's proposal (on the teamaros-benefactor's ml) before I submit anything new to the general TeamAROS ml.

Cant say i agree! not wanting to step on anyone but most Amigans arent THAT skilled! even i had some issues with AROS native =) so the installer is indeed very important! in my view just as important as USB support.
