Well, to be honest im considering putting the installer bounty work on hold for now - theres too many other things (out of the scope of the installer and grub) i feel that need to be done before the installer can achieve all the functionality that the bounty requires.
However ... i do intend to work on the general installer side of it in the very near future. I have my systems all working again - bar the build environment itself (pondering switching to a proper virtual server =/) so i should be back coding in the next few days.
