would be good if we could have a routine to check if janus is up, and if not, just lauch janus before run the app.
but im not sure if it would be in aros scope or at distro based rules. we allready have 68k code detection, but dunno how to link such info with the icon (in an automated way, without adding some flag to the icon itself) my 2 cents. best regards, ps: but really a good catch to improve end user experience

Hello O1i and others,
I have noticed that if you try to run a 68K program on i386, double clicking on its Icon, you get these different behaviors: 1. with Janus-UAE running in integration mode: the program is run under emulation, in a proper window 2. without Janus-UAE running: AROS crashes hard, without any advice to the user while #1 is correct, #2 is not acceptable. Can someone please look into Wanderer source, and have it showing a simple window saying "you must run Janus-UAE in integrated mode to run this program"? That would be nicer, since it's not so difficult to click the wrong icon by mistake. Thank you veeeery much!
