@clusteruk
Great video! Always fun to watch your videos ![]() Could you also give us an demonstration how UAE perform on the Aspire? Some games and demos would be great! Does joystick work on it? How fast would apps running fullscreen picasso96 screens be? When using 8mb chipmem, UAE can support larger AGA resolutions I would LOVE to see DPaint5 and brilliance running 1024x600x256 on its own screen ![]() Please check out the HighGFX40_6 driver on Aminet http://fi.aminet.net/driver/moni/HighGFX40_6.readme Now if the Apspire One also can run classic 68k apps and games at fullspeed, then WOW!!!!! ![]()

Yes, A150 is ok, but it is just 8.9 inch display, the text is so smal on that screen, its a litle bigger on a 10.1 inch display.
I had a HP mini a wile back, and it had a 8.9 inch display with 1024x600, and the text whas smal, but ok. So I would love a 10.1 inch, but maby thats to risky, Aros may not run on it.

If you're looking for an amazing 1024x600 AROS experience, you should look for an Acer Aspire One A150, which is fully supported (just wifi, webcam and card reader missing).

Well I am going to disagree with Nikos about eeepc, they are both great little net books and not crap I have 701 and large screen version.
However, Nikos is right about the Aspire one, I have a 150 and it is in a different league altogether. You will not get Aros to run native on eeepc but I had it running hosted linux very well. Basically Aros with wireless networking, usb modem support, sound etc. But compared to running native, linux hosted sucks ![]() No seriously, linux hosted is very nice when you do not have native, but native on Aspire is to die for. When Wireless is ready and we have HTML5 it will be a perfect little net computer, period.

metalmac: other model than 110 and 150 have not been tested but I see no reason why they would not work.
Eee pc I had at home for about 1 week before I returned it. I'm not sure about the exact model but it was for sure crap. ACER Aspire one is in another leauge. I just love ACER aspire one. We have 2 at my house. Both are model 110 with SSD. Have a look at my site. www.arosaspire.org

HI Cluster,
I was very impressed with your video. I have only ever seen larger OS on netbook. Somebody showed me Vista on one once and i was like "yawn". I was pretty gob smacked by how fast Aros is on it. As soon as wifi stack is done and ACPI is implemented it would be top of my recommendation list for something of that form factor. Go AROS ! Thanks for your videos. Appreciate them all.
