I'm good friends with Ken, and also a fan of his icons, so I'd love to see them as the standard AROS icons. I'll ask him when about it when I see him next.

Even so, I would still suggest making the pub icon smaller and the RAM Disk icon bigger to get rid of the gaps.

Suggestion accepted

I noticed. However IMHO volumes should have larger icons than drawers and files. For the vertical orientation, i felt immediately in love with it 'cos... well, 'cos it's kinda different.

Maybe we can give a link to APL to Ken and ask if he can give his icons on this (or another anyway) terms?

Looks great!

If only "they" could decide to use those icons in the official nightly aros too.... Ken Lesters icons should be the official icon set, if he agrees to it.

Presumably being one of "them", I'd like to point out that I've asked at least twice (here and on the dev list) about what the licence is for Ken's icons in order to establish whether they can be included in AROS, but have got no response.

@paolone

The large size of the disk icons is causing a large gap between the other icons and their labels.

Hardwired, I'm setting up a google group for registered beta testers. In the next weeks I'll post a WiP version of VmwAROS and I'll need all the help available to fix all these glitches.

I'd like do do all these fixes by myself, but it's a huge work and I can't do everything, so if you can setup DOpus in any way...

@Paolone:
Please do try to configure DOPUS and other Programs to resemble your Wanderer look settings (Mainly fonts but also some color issues...). That would no doubt enhance the VmwAROS experience!

Keep up the good work

Should we await an updated VmwAROS soon ?
If it comes, i`d await a bit before seeding 0.9 from local tracker...

Just continue feeding the 0.9 version, the next one has a loooong way to come. In the future I'll call for beta testers, since I am adding features regardelss of bugs and issues, so I will need help to hunt and correct them.
