Speed of VICE 3.1 was not a 'concern', but a 'show stopping' issue. It is too slow and even unable to perform 100% speed of a Commodore 64 on fairly powerful PCs. I hope this will get fixed in version 3.2.

By the way, if anyone is able to check for current sources and compile them for AROS x86, providing that speed issue was fixed, I will be happy to include a updated version in next Icaros.

Sorry. It seems I already had tried the 3.1 route some time ago...

I was pretty sure I had included v3.0 in Icaros, though.

By the way, where did you get the AROS executables? I could find only the sources and binaries for other operating systems.

Version 3.0 was included in the past, but I had to revert it back to v2.4 after discovering that 3.0 was painfully slow on AROS. I will now check again if the current version is OK for inclusion.

i noticed that the version of VICE emulators still bundled into icaros to this day is still the old outdated 2.4 version, i think, it could really use some update love considering the number of features been added since. One of wich i'm specificaly concerned about as an example, being a proud owner of the original C64 CP/M cartridge is the CP/M cartridge emulation itself wich appeared in 3.0 (but was buged) but working flawlessly in VICE 3.1
