Indeed, I would think that you are looking for StringObject features (the object that C:RequestString does actually use).

Hmmmm I don't know if this would fit your needs, but give a sight to RequestString sources (it's a shell command which allows entering a string, in a single line field).

I want to have input text field, that has multiline capability disabled (for example, when you have to enter
your user name into field). I haven't found option for disabling multiline for TextEditorObject. Is there any other GUI object, that has this option?
