If not has anyone an other idea how to find out over which Object my mouse cursor is situated? the Mouse position I can read from Screen but the rest -> overlapping windows, how to know where is my Pointer?

Try something like that:

struct Window *get_window(UWORD x, UWORD y) {

struct Screen *screen=
         (
struct Screen *) IntuitionBase->FirstScreen;

struct Layer_Info *li = &(screen->LayerInfo);

struct Window     *window=NULL;

struct Layer      *layer;

LockLayerInfo(li);

layer = WhichLayer(li, x, y);
  if(
layer) {

window=layer->Window;
  }

UnlockLayerInfo(li);

return
window;
}

Hello,

I have some Zune related questions:

1. Written inhttp://aros.sourceforge.net/de/introduction/status/window.php MUIA_Window_NeedsMouseObject and MUIA_Window_MouseObject are still not implemented into Zune, is there a special reason for this? Or at least a time table when this is included?

No one is actively doing anything with Zune at present. People talk about fixing/improving it but so far nothing has ever come of it. Feel free to contribute ;)

You could use layers to determine which window is under the pointer - and then work out the object from there, but tbh it would be better to implement the missing MUI functionality.

2. I found a strange behavior when creating a Button with an ASL requester.. the window behind the requester seems to be deactivated but it still catches the messages and fires one after the other when ASL requester close. So far so well.. I tried to disable the application (or the window) with MUIA_*_Sleep before the ASL requester and after wake it up again... but still the same behavior. From the description of MUIA_Application_Sleep:

Quote:

This attribute can be used to put a whole application
to sleep. All open windows get disabled and a busy
pointer appears.

I would not expect that the messages are still captured.. especially because there is a special command to do this saving of messages. Any Ideas? Is this a bug or wanted behavior?

Its probably only partially implemented, or just broken.
