madahi can play mp3's. I've tried to run 3 madahi's simultaneously and it does work.

That is so cool. I have a NForce chipset. That with Fat support and I will be able to play Mp3's (can we do that?) from Aros. Can't wait to do that!!

AHI audio driver for native commited

Hello there.

I've just sommited the AC97 AHI driver for Intel 8x0 and nForce chipsets. For
those unpatient, the binaries are under:

http://home.tu-clausthal.de/~misc/ac97
and
http://home.tu-clausthal.de/~misc/ac97.audio

The driver supports 48KHz audio only (this one is default to the ac97 codecs).
Mixing does work (tried to run 3 copies of madahi at once with different
mp3's), however many internals of AHI are still mystery for me (Martin, are
you here?).

The driver's task works with priority 30 in order to override the input.device
(well, sound should be played nicely when user moves/resizes the window,
shouldn't it?) and fully utilizes interrupt :)

Please test and have fun.

cheers,
