Currently, the contrib sources are already included in the main archive.

Please, can somone help me... I need again information about using the AROS Build System. There used to be some useful information about it in Wiki AROS Developer Build System but it's not longer there I searched for it but couldn't find - could someone point me to the latest developer documentation on the Build System?

Maybe this helps:
http://www.aros.org/documentation/developers/compiling.php

If you want to know how to write packages which should be included into the AROS subversion tree:
http://www.aros.org/documentation/developers/app-dev/buildsystem.php

But this is still rocket science to me

I have downloaded the nightly build 20060412 and I'm wondering how to go about building all contribs and documentation. The AROS core was fine - I have built it without any problems - but it doesn't look like it has all the contribs there e.g. can't find sqlite3, etc.

Building the documentation:
CD into the documentation directory and type:
./build html (creates documentation in html format)
./build www (creates content of www.aros.org)
In both cases the result is stored in "bin" directory.

Contribs:
Copy the content of the contrib archiv into the AROS archiv. If you do 'make' then most parts of the contrib archiv are compiled together with AROS.

Some parts of the contrib archiv have to be compiled manually. This means you have to look into the mmakefile.src for the target name (the string behind "#MM-").

e.g. for sqlite:
#MM- contrib-sqlite3:

CD into AROS and type "make contrib-sqlite3" to build it.
