It's e1000.device. It should be easily found in Icaros and nightlies.

The short answer is that Intel Gigabit Ethernet adapters are not supported. The slightly longer answer is that there was an experimental driver developed, but last time I checked it didn't work.

hi,
i have this mainboard: http://www.bcmcom.com/admin/Manual/MX945GSE_User_Manual_V1.1.pdf ...and after some googling I found it's equipped with this network device: http://www.intel.com/content/dam/doc/datasheet/82574l-gbe-controller-datasheet.pdf does anyone else have this mainboard? do we have a driver for the network device? (i think we don't, tried intelpro100.device, pcnet32.device) would it be possible to write a driver for it? the datasheet (link above) seems to have a good portion of developer information. regards, Ro
