yes, KWrite supports western europe charset. I saved it in this codeset... I'll see the webpage today. Thank you. Manu

Hi,
I have translated some pages in the documentation area into German, but the result is horrible. I used german open Suse with KWrite. I saved the docs in UTF-8! KWrite has opened them already being UTF-8. Does anyone have a hint in which encoding to save those documents or which editor to use best.
