I do not have a burner and I can not create me a cd with my compilation, cmq time before compiling a program you have to change the "mmakefile.src" file.

I managed to compile 64-bit aros, but they are not experienced enough to compile programs leave that to those who know more than me

That's the usual way for most developers. I personally don't like to execute a million of makefiles of the AROS tree just to compile the one file of my project that has been modified. Yes, there are the quick targets etc, but this is still too slow for me. You can write your own makefile or directly involve gcc, but of course you need a basic knowledge, how to write a makefile and use gcc .The disadvantage of manual compiling is also that you have to adapt your makefile/build system for every platform and ABI. The AROS build systems cares for that automatically.

Yes, that should build a PC-native 64-bit version of AROS. If you want to compile your own programs, you can add them to the AROS source directory and build them with the AROS build system (i.e. by adding a mmakefile.src file for your program). Also, be sure to refer tohttp://aros.sourceforge.net/documentation/developers/compiling.php for details of the Linux packages you need to compile AROS. You don't need to install the SDK to do things this way, but others may be able to advise you on using the SDK as an alternative way to compile your own programs.

I would try to build programs for 64-bit architecture, I'm filling in the aros 64-bit sources, to do this I wrote this in the shell "./configure --target=pc-x86_64", correct? I also installed sdk. thanks
